In the ranking of the Top 500 Industrial Enterprises of Turkey, announced by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry according to the data of 2020, Oba Pasta, with a record rise, moved from the 117th place in 2020 to the 86th place by jumping 31 places, while it is the 2nd in Gaziantep province-wide ranking. has taken its place. Stating that their product portfolio has increased, Güçlü said, “Our company, which continues its innovation and R&D investments without interruption, introduced its new flavors to the consumers last year. Therefore, in a sense, 2020 has been the ‘Year of Innovations’ for Oba Pasta. In 2020, as Oba, we entered the noodle industry with our Obamie brand. In addition to this, we added Oba Un to our product portfolio and started production with a thousand-ton capacity, enabling new flavors to be added to our family. Among our new products, especially the noodle we produce with the Obamie brand, which is in the ready-to-eat consumption group, has won the appreciation of our consumers.

Özgüçlü, who also evaluated the pandemic process that affected the whole world, said, “Unfortunately, 2020 has passed as the year of combating the epidemic globally. In terms of consumption, there is a great increase in the sales of basic food products such as pasta and flour, especially during the pandemic period. Expressing that they took action to carry out their own logistics in 2021 with the purchase of two ships of 1,500 TEU and 10 thousand containers, Özgüçlü said, “We want to further strengthen our position in the sector with our products that meet the demands of world consumers by observing the changes in consumption habits. Today, digitalization is no longer a choice, it has become a necessity. In this sense, we will further increase the importance we attach to digital transformation, our investments in e-commerce, R&D and innovation. In addition, we have taken action to do our own logistics in 2021 with the purchase of two ships of 1,500 TEU and 10 thousand containers.
